Wembley Golf Course is a purpose-built public golf facility that leads the nation in design and functionality to attract more than just golfers.

The vision to create this asset for the community comes from the Town of Cambridge who owns and manages the venue.

Recently awarded the WA Metropolitan Golf Facility of the Year for 2023.

Our Golf Courses

THE OLD COURSE

The Old Course dates back to 1932, when Walter Fox set out the initial eighteen holes.

Stretching to nearly 5,800 meters from the back tees, this par-72 course still features original routing and a number of dog legs.

THE TUART COURSE

The Tuart Course has evolved since the first nine was completed in 1959 and is slightly shorter than the Old Course.

Measuring a total of 5,372 meters from the back tees, this par-70 course features tighter fairways and water features on two holes.

Old Course Hole 4

At 466 meters from the black tees, the 4th hole is the second of four par 5s on the Old Course.

A tip from PGA Professional Matthew Elliott: To keep that hot streak going, you will need to hit a long, preferably straight drive avoiding the thick trees, bunkers and out of bounds left at all costs. For your second shot, aim for the right side of the fairway, staying clear of the two bunkers guarding the left, to set up the best angle into the green. It`s a genuine 3 shot hole into the breeze, but longer hitters can reach the green in two shots on the right day. This hole rewards straight hitting and a precise approach to a tricky green with multiple slopes. Good luck!

Meet our General Manager, Jason Roach, a fun-loving golf enthusiast dedicated to making the game inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. Jason joined the Wembley Golf Course team in 2020 from Cairns Golf Club and was our Operations Manager before officially stepping into the role of GM in late 2023. With over 18 years of experience, he’s led projects like the installation of Trackman Range and recent mini golf renovations. Jason has many exciting ideas to continue elevating our beautiful facility, so stay tuned! When he`s not improving your golfing experience, he loves chocolate, spending time with his wife and two little boys, and watching all sports – especially AFL, cricket, and UFC. 🏌️‍♂️🍫
