Wembley Golf Course is thrilled to welcome 8 girls into our Australian Golf Foundation (AGF) Junior Girls Scholarship program for 2025. This fantastic initiative, in collaboration with Golf Australia, has proven to be a huge success since its launch in 2021, providing over 3,000 girls the chance to improve their golf skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Under the expert tutelage of PGA professional, Claire Elvidge, the girls will be given the opportunity to advance their skills through ongoing coaching and form lifelong golfing friendships.
Aligned with Golf Australia’s Vision 2025 strategic plan for women and girls, this program aims to nurture a passion for golf by fostering a strong connection between girls (ages 10-16) and their local golf clubs. It encourages junior players to continue their golfing journey, advancing past initial steps and working towards achieving a handicap.
